Kent is one of the westernmost neighborhoods in Washington, DC, in the 20016 ZIP code. It sits between Battery Kemble Park and the ground that falls toward Chain Bridge and the Potomac River. The neighborhood is a small pocket of large wooded lots and detached houses, mostly mid-century and custom. There is no commercial strip and little through traffic; most streets are residential and see little traffic. It has a suburban feel inside the District line.
